ClearomizerTo ensure a long life of the clearomizer and a proper functionality it is necessary, from time to time, to give it a good maintenance. On the web there are many tips on how to clean a clearomizer. Here we will explain it in simple terms. Before using a clearomizer, it is important that it is well infused with liquid well.

To infuse a clearomizer there are two methods:

  • Use a small bottle of liquid, 30 or 50 ml, which allows you to completely immerse your clearomizer and keep it immersed in liquid for a time ranging from a minimum of 12 hours onwards: Nothing will happen to the electronic cigarette, be assured.
  • The longer you leave the clearomizer to soak, the better.

Ensure you have well used the clearomizer. When used normally a clearomizer should not have any problems for at least 20 or 30 ml of liquid.

There are many aromatic liquids that dirty the clearomizer ahead of time and could make a clean due only within 10-15 ml of the use. You will notice that the clearomizer becomes no longer functional. These liquids are not recommended, especially the double flavoured liquids, as it is known and proven to drastically reduce, as much as 50%, the life of your clearomizer.

So after the first 20 or 30 ml you probably feel that your clearomizer does not perform as it should and you experience the following symptoms:

  • A reduced sound.
  • Poorer aromatic taste.

At this point simply take the clearomizer and put it in a container in the microwave, immerse it in liquid of at least 3 fingers of water (about 3-4 cm). Place it in a 900w microwave (max) and then boil it for about 5 minutes.

At this point, leave it to cool for at least 10 minutes and then rinse the clearomizer with plain water, and put it back in use for while the ecigarette is “running” for at least 6 hours.

When you resume the clearomizer will recover partly the 50% of life lost without any problems. This is due to a good wash. This won’t affect the resistance of the Clearomizer itself. At this point, then you’ll have 2 options: either to repeat the washing in the microwave or do a dry-burn, with all the risks.

These tips apply to:

  • The clearomizer: 510, 306, 801 and 901;
  • To any 510 clearomizer of an ego tank.
